To achieve Functional Skills English Entry Level 3, you must complete all required Highfield assessment components and meet the relevant standard in each component. Practice activities and mock assessments help you prepare, but they do not replace the formal assessments.

Two assessed activities: a presentation with questions and answers, and a group discussion. This component is assessed and quality assured by HHF Training and moderated in line with Highfield requirements.

Reading: complete one Highfield-set written assessment. It covers Entry Level 3 reading requirements.
Writing: complete one Highfield-set written assessment. It covers Entry Level 3 writing requirements.
The £189 course fee includes the first scheduled attempt at each required assessment. Resits, missed appointments, late changes or special arrangements may cost extra under HHF Training’s terms. HHF Training confirms the date and arrangements before booking.

Certification and Recognition
After successfully completing every required component of Functional Skills English Entry Level 3 and the applicable quality-assurance process, you will receive the Highfield Functional Skills Qualification in English at Entry Level 3 awarded by Highfield Qualifications.
Entry Level 3 is an Entry Level qualification designed to support confidence and progression. It is not equivalent to Functional Skills Level 1 or Level 2 and should not be advertised as a GCSE equivalent.
