Online Study Questions
Learn how studying with HHF Training works and what support is available throughout your course.
How does online learning with HHF Training work?
Learners study using the course resources and guidance provided by HHF Training. Depending on the qualification, learning may include reading materials, guided activities, tutorials, assessment tasks and other supporting resources.
Does HHF Training provide recorded or scheduled live classes?
No. HHF Training does not use recorded classes or scheduled live online classes as its standard course delivery model.
Learners are supported through course resources, tutorials, email support and WhatsApp support.
Can I study while working full-time?
Many learners choose online study because it allows them to plan their learning around work and other commitments. However, the amount of study time required depends on the qualification, assessment requirements and your own pace of progress.
What support will I receive during my course?
Learners can access tutorials and receive support through email and WhatsApp. The type of support provided may also depend on the qualification and stage of learning.
What equipment do I need to study online?
Learners normally need reliable internet access and a suitable device for accessing course materials, preparing assessment work and communicating with HHF Training.
Some qualifications may also require access to a workplace, recording facilities or other resources depending on the assessment method.
Assessment and Learner Support
Assessment methods vary by qualification, so learners should always check the requirements of their chosen course.
How are HHF Training courses assessed?
Assessment methods depend on the qualification. Some programmes are assessed through written assignments, while others may also require workplace evidence, observation, professional discussion or other forms of evidence.
Do I need to take an exam?
Not every qualification requires an exam. Many HHF Training qualifications are assessed through assignments and evidence, but the exact method depends on the qualification and awarding organisation.
How quickly will I receive assessment feedback?
HHF Training aims to provide assessment feedback within 4 working days of submission.
What happens if my work does not meet the assessment criteria?
Where work does not yet meet the required assessment criteria, the assessor will provide feedback explaining what needs to be improved or added.
Learners can then review the feedback and resubmit the required evidence in line with the course and assessment requirements.
Can observations be completed online?
In some cases, yes. Depending on the qualification and awarding organisation, observation may be completed through live online observation, recorded observation or another approved method, sometimes supported by professional discussion.
Learners must check with HHF Training before arranging an observation because awarding-body requirements can differ.
Can I submit evidence with only a typed name as a signature?
No. Where signed evidence is required, HHF Training expects an acceptable electronic signature or a wet signature. A typed name on its own is not accepted as a valid signature.
AI Use, Plagiarism and Collusion
HHF Training expects all submitted work to be authentic and to accurately represent the learner's own knowledge, understanding and evidence.
Can I use AI tools to complete my assignments?
HHF Training has a strict policy on the misuse of artificial intelligence. AI must not be used to generate assessment work that is submitted as though it were entirely the learner's own.
Learners remain responsible for the authenticity, accuracy and originality of all submitted work.
What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism involves presenting another person's words, ideas or work as your own without appropriate acknowledgement. HHF Training treats plagiarism seriously.
What is collusion?
Collusion occurs when learners work together inappropriately or submit work that is not genuinely their own individual effort where independent work is required.
Suspected AI misuse, plagiarism, collusion or other forms of academic misconduct may be investigated under the relevant HHF Training policies and procedures.
Certificates and Quality Assurance
Certification takes place after the required assessment and quality-assurance processes have been completed.
When will I receive my certificate?
After successful course completion, the applicable IQA and EQA approval processes normally take around 3 to 5 weeks.
Once EQA approval has been completed, an electronic certificate is normally available within approximately one further week.
Why is there a quality-assurance process after I finish my course?
Quality assurance helps confirm that assessment decisions and learner evidence meet the required standards before certification is finalised.
Will I receive an electronic certificate?
Where electronic certification is available through the relevant awarding organisation, learners will normally receive access after the required approval and certification process has been completed.

HHF Training offers many online courses to learners worldwide, subject to qualification-specific and regulatory requirements.
Can I enrol with HHF Training if I live outside the UK?
Yes. Many HHF Training courses are available to learners worldwide. However, some qualifications may not be suitable for international online delivery because of practical requirements, awarding-body conditions or regulatory restrictions.
Are there any courses that international learners cannot take?

Should international learners check eligibility before enrolling?
Yes. International learners should check the requirements of the specific course before purchasing, particularly where the qualification includes workplace or practical assessment.
Recognition of Prior Learning and Progression
Previous qualifications, learning and experience may sometimes contribute towards future study, subject to review and eligibility.
What is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning, or RPL, is a process through which relevant previous learning and evidence may be reviewed against the requirements of a current qualification.
Can previous qualifications count towards a new qualification?
Potentially, yes. Relevant previous qualifications may be reviewed to determine whether they meet part of the requirements of the current qualification.
Does RPL guarantee that I will receive exemptions?
No. RPL is subject to an individual review of the evidence and the requirements of the relevant qualification. Recognition cannot be guaranteed before this review takes place.
