How Functional Skills English Entry Level 1 Is Assessed
To achieve Functional Skills English Entry Level 1, you must complete all required Highfield assessment components and meet the relevant standard in each component. Practice activities and mock assessments help you prepare, but they do not replace the formal assessments.

Writing: one Highfield-set written assessment covering the writing requirements at Entry Level 1.
The course fee includes the first scheduled attempt at the required Highfield assessments. A resit, missed appointment, late change, additional component or special arrangement may involve an additional fee under HHF Training's published terms. Your assessment is not booked until HHF Training confirms the date and arrangements.
